Yesterday was a really slow day. Mom intended to take me for a hike. She really did. She got up from her chair when she finished her work, packed up the hiking bag, and gathered her things. Then it started to rain. She got started on something else. She finished it. She went to grab her bag. It started to rain. After a couple more cycles of this it occurred to her that someone was trying to tell her something. She gave up on hiking and sewed instead. This was fine with me. I sat under her chair while she sewed. When she came downstairs to do more computer work, I got under the leg rest on the recliner. This is a favorite game of mine. See?
